Robby Spring

Robby is a healthcare leader with expertise in health innovation, patient engagement, advocacy, and improving care through the commercialization of health technologies. Robby’s work has taken her across academia, hospitals, government, industry, and charitable organizations, giving her a broad perspective on the Canadian healthcare system. She specializes in strategic partnerships, business development, health policy, public affairs, translational research, and informatics, which further enhance her ability to drive impactful initiatives. Her personal experience with breast cancer and as a care partner has shaped her approach to advocacy and consulting, grounding her work in empathy and real-world understanding. As a co-founder of the social enterprise HIIO (Health Innovation Implementation in Ontario) and a former estate jewellery business owner, she combines entrepreneurial spirit with strategic insight. Robby’s academic background includes an MSc in neuroscience and an MHSc in translational research, fuelling her commitment to advancing meaningful change in healthcare.
