Dr. Paul Santerre leads Dalhousie’s Pulse BioMed Hub, a new health innovation-focused incubator. Before joining Dalhousie, Paul built a national reputation for helping biomedical ideas become real companies and products. During his academic career at the University of Toronto and University Health Network, he co-founded six biomedical startups, helped establish a health innovation hub, and held the Baxter Chair in Health Commercialization. His experience offers founders valuable insight into how scientific innovation, regulatory realities, and clinical needs come together when building technologies for complex markets.
