Luke Decoste

Academic Lead, AI2Market

Luke DeCoste is an entrepreneur, entrepreneurship educator, and AI researcher working at the intersection of founder development, decision-making, and emerging technology. He teaches entrepreneurship at business schools and accelerators across Canada and serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Dalhousie University, where he is the Academic Lead here for AI2Market.

Luke’s work is shaped by both lived founder experience and academic research. He has built, bought, invested in, and sold ventures, including co-founding ProofGov, a software company created to help public servants make better decisions and manage complex mandates with less risk. Today, he is completing a PhD in Positive Organizational Psychology at Claremont Graduate University, where his research explores how AI can support entrepreneurial learning, judgment, and decision-making.

Through his mix of startup, teaching, government, and research experience, Luke brings founders a thoughtful and practical perspective on how to test ideas, make decisions under uncertainty, and use AI in ways that strengthen, rather than replace, founder judgment.
