In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Aquatron and in collaboration with Dal Innovation Week, Dal staff, students, and faculty are invited to experience the innovation of the Aquatron Laboratory, the largest university aquatic research facility in Canada. The tour will showcase the research facilities housed in the Aquatron, including the large and small tank facilities, wet-labs, specialized aquatic research equipment, and more! Your tour guide will speak to the innovative research currently underway and you’ll learn about how the Aquatron has contributed to conservation research. Tours can accommodate a maximum of 12 participants, register now as spots are filling up quickly!
Please note that the Aquatron is a scent-free, indoor research facility and there will be some ambient noise, fluorescent and LED lighting, stairs (elevator access available), and potential chemical sensitivity triggers.
Close-toed shoes are required.
