Do you have a business idea?  A problem you think needs to be solved in a new and innovative way? Or have you identified a problem in a particular industry you’d like to try to solve? Would you like to be a start-up founder?

90% of start-ups fail. There are a lot of reasons for this- but a common reason is that there is a mismatch between the product founders create, and what a potential customer actually wants to pay for. This is why high-quality customer discovery is important.

Collide will be offered as a 4-week program designed to help give students the skills and confidence they need to validate their business ideas through customer discovery. We will help students learn to combat their fear of reaching out to potential customers, be aware of confirmation bias, and ask the right questions to discover the real problems their customers are facing.

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit and are interested in learning how to customer discovery, but you haven’t identified a problem?  No worries! Email Grace O’Hara at and we’ll help you identify a potential idea or problem to validate.
